What is Beauty UK, Hair UK, Barber UK & Holistic Health? 

Beauty UK is the national beauty trade show welcoming thousands of professionals each year. The event hosts 4 shows under 1 roof, with Hair UK, Barber UK and Holistic Health all hugely successful shows in their industries. 

The event is trade only, offering visitors the opportunity to meet their existing suppliers, as well as discover new exhibitors and products that they may want to purchase during or after the show.


Where is the event?

Beauty UK, Hair UK, Barber UK & Holistic Health are held in Halls 17, 18 and 19 at The National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham B40 1NT.


What are the opening times?

Sunday 20th May 2018: 10:00am – 5:30pm

Monday 21st May 2018: 10:00am – 5:00pm


What can I expect to see at the show? 

With four shows under one roof, visitors not only have the opportunity to see the latest Spring /Summer launches in beauty, nails, tanning, hair and complementary therapies, but can also enjoy free educational experiences and special offers available from the 750 brands exhibiting at the show.


I am a student, am I able to attend the show?

Students studying beauty, hair, barbering or complementary therapy are able and encouraged to attend, however please note that we do not admit visitors under the age of 14. 


Is the show free to attend?

Free entry is available to visitors who register before the show, and who bring their free tickets with them. You may register on arrival to the show; however entrance on the day is priced at £20 per person / £10 per student.

Can I register my colleague and/or friend?

Yes, you can register for additional passes for your colleagues either online or via the Ticket Hotline.


Is my show registration date specific?

Your show ticket entitles you to enter both days of the show.


What does my ticket include?

Your ticket entitles you to entry of Beauty UK, Hair UK, Barber UK and Holistic Health. There will be the opportunity to enjoy free educational programmes and seminars held by exhibitors, as well as watch live demonstrations. How / when will I receive my ticket(s)?

Tickets will be sent via email or post depending on which option you choose when registering and will arrive 7-10 days prior to the event. 


Where can I eat/drink?

There are numerous bars, restaurants and seating areas both inside and outside of the halls where you can purchase food and drinks.


Is there an ATM?

There are ATMs outside the halls, some are free to use and some you will be charged to use. We advise that you take cash out prior to the event as not all exhibitors will accept card and there could be queues to use the ATMs.


What is the entrance policy?

Entrance to Beauty UK, Hair UK, Barber UK and Holistic Health is strictly TRADE ONLY. Pre-registered trade visitors will receive free entry to the exhibition. If we have made a mistake with any of your details, they can be amended by registration staff when you arrive. Babies and children under the age of 14, prams and pushchairs, will not be permitted.


What disabled facilities are there?

The NEC aims to be fully accessible and user-friendly for disabled visitors. For more information, visit the NEC Website.


Can I access an internet connection?

All visitors to the NEC can connect to Wifi across the entire venue completely free of charge.


How much is parking?

Standard parking is available in the NEC car parks, with regular shuttle buses to take you from these car parks to the halls. Parking costs are charged by the NEC, for more information and current costings, please visit their website www.thenec.co.uk. 


Is there a cloakroom or somewhere to store my shopping bags?

You can drop off your baggage, coats and luggage at the NEC cloakrooms, where items are charged at £1 each.

BBA

Held in partnership with the British Barbers' Association (BBA), Barber UK, in addition to Hair UK, provides visitors with the opportunity to discover the latest Spring / Summer launches in barbering, hair and male grooming. The exhibition also features educational experiences including the Hair/Barber Stage and ABT Seminar Programme.

Event Admission Policy:

Entrance to Barber UK is strictly trade only. Free entry is available to visitors who register before the show, and who bring their free tickets with them. Entrance on the day is priced at £20 per person / £10 per student. There is a strict policy that babies and children under the age of 14 years will be refused admission - no prams or pushchairs are allowed.
